Singapore Writers Festival: The Fruits of Mentorship

With Cyril Wong, Tania de Rozario and Robert Yeo

The mentorship of young wordsmiths by more established writers is a feature of the Singapore literary scene, thanks to schemes such as the Gifted Education Programme’s Creative Arts Programme, which celebrates 22 years this year, and the National Arts Council’s Mentor Access Project, which is marking its 17th. This panel brings together writers who will discuss their first-hand experiences of the intricate mentor-mentee relationship, and examine how such mentorships have influenced the literary scene here.
